Fill valve generation boundary

For installations from 2013–February 2014, Schwab’s conversion table maps the old 243292 fill valve to replacement set 675104. The later generation uses 628458; check the model drawing and connection before ordering. A loose valve is not automatically a substitute for the complete conversion set.

Confirm the existing thread, holder, tube and required fittings. Installations near the changeover date need the actual cistern label and mechanism checked.

Water continues into the bowl

Check the outlet seal and valve seating, fill shut-off and plate adjustment before selecting a replacement.

Slow refill or valve noise

Check supply isolation, filter and fill valve condition. Match the connection thread and installation generation.

Button loose or not operating

Check the plate mechanism, rods and holders against the model drawing; plate design alone does not establish compatibility.
